Need to highlight selected diagram objects on multiple selection

When selecting multiple diagram elements then the selection is indicated by a rectangle region around the selected elements but that region may contain the unselected elements. Currently, we don’t have any highlight option to highlight only selected elements in the selected region. so, e need to highlight selected elements on multiple selections.
