formFieldCollections growing as document is scrolled, and values being lost

Somewhere between 19.3.55 an 19.3.57 the formFieldCollections property has broken. When scrolling between pages in a document, formFieldCollections grows in size. I have also noticed that the values typed-in by the user sometimes also disappear when scrolling away and then back again.
