Any CustomPattern value containing ‘ddd’ sets selected day to 01-01-0001 when control loses focus

We are passing custom formats to the CustomPattern property.  We have found that any format we pass in containing 'ddd' causes issues with the DateTimeEdit control.  If you pick a date and then cause focus to be lost from the control, it will revert to 01-01-0001.  We would expect 'ddd' to format day values as like: Mon, Tue, Wed, etc.
