Make pain group resource fields available for scheduling

I need to add information that will apply to the whole group. I use a sample from the site, but when I add an event without specifying a resource (ConsultantID), specifying only the resource group (DepartmentID) the data is not displayed. How to make pain group resource fields available for scheduling. Thanks
