Issue in getting value of custom column fields at server side

Issue in getting value of custom column fields at server side after args.cancel = true once executed.

1. Open add modal fill all fields except process code.
2. Click the save button . args.cancel = true executed because required field is not filled.
3. Now fill the process code also and click the save button .
4. Request hit at controller side but custom fields contains null value .
