Edit in place on a string field long than 30 characters

If the width of a column is bigger than 50 width, when editing if the string is longer than the field you cannot select in the string and edit it.

The workaround is to reduce the size of the column by dragging the right hand side until it is less than 50 wide, then you can edit it.
