Images change aspect ratio, when resized to smallest possible and back larger again

When resizing an image, if the image is resized to the smallest allowed by the control and then made larger again, the larger image has a changed aspect ratio resulting in a distorted image. This is more easily seen was an image that has a very rectangular aspect ratio to begin with.
