SfTab EnablePersistence not working on Demand content mode

SfTab EnablePersistence not working on Demand content mode. Here is how to reproduce the problem.
  1. I go to the Index page and select the "Scheduler" tab.
  2. I go to an other page.
  3. I go back to the Index page. The "Scheduler" tab is still selected but its content is not rendered.
