Widget and data level dynamic content change or localization based on users' settings and dashboard parameter

  • Implementation based on data sources that will allow users to configure locale specific strings for description, sub title etc. 
  • Problem with date fields in grid and user wanted it to default to UK format, but this doesn’t work properly. Dashboard designer doesn’t have inbuilt concept of locale. Every time user has to change locale for each column – change format every time. Provide a way to pick a locale when installing or when using dashboard designer. Consider date, time, number and currency formatting. 
  • While formatting the number, user wanted to change “append text” dynamically. For example, when displaying any unit of measure, user wanted to change “append Text” dynamically based selected parameter.
