Setting SelectedIndex is not triggering SelectionChanged event

When setting SelectedIndex, the record is highlighted in the SfDataGrid. The SelectedItem and CurrentItem are set respectively, but the SelectionChanged event is not triggered.

The SelectionMode is set to Single.
