DROP DOWN LISTs in TextInputLayout

Is this going to be supported soon? TextBox, it's okay. PasswordBox, that's cool. But how about drop down list controls like ComboBox, or ComboBoxAdv, etc? AutoComplete is nice, maybe supported, BUT that's not what we need. And this is preventing us to proceed with our project using Syncfusion for WPF. Input forms in most cases required drop down lists, so I wonder why these controls are not supported.
