Line chart doesn't display contiguous line segments

The Syncfusion WinForms Chart Control will chart line segments by adding an empty point after the start and end points of each segment. 

However there is an issue when segments are contiguous; in which case, only the first segment is displayed!

The attached code sample charts 9 line segments, but two are not displayed correctly - only the endpoints are visible as shown in the screenshot below.
