Allocate Resource by day (hrs for a day) and not by percentage

We have multiple resources that works on multiple projects.
Resource 1 works on Project1 on Monday and half of Tuesday.
Resource 1 works on Project2 on half of Tuesday and Wednesday.
Resource 2 works on Project1 on Half of Tuesday and Wed - Friday.

Can resource allocation handles this?
Also, it is possible to allocate resource by hours instead of by percentage.

[More specific to which day within the task start/end date. We have multiple projects and resources. One resource can work on 2 projects within the same day - one in the morning and one in the afternoon.]
