Complex formulae aren't working in calculated fields

Complex calculated fields formulae aren’t working. For example,
$"\"(\"Sum(InStock)\" > 0 ? \"Sum(InStock)\"/\"Sum(Sold)\" : 0) \"";
Whereas simple formulae alone working properly as like,
"\"" + "Sum(Amount)" + "\"" + "+" + "\"" + "Sum(Sold)" + "\"";

So need to make such kind of complex formulae workable.
