Add ability to control the animation on sliding between weeks/months

Currently, when you swipe between weeks or months there are 2 problems:

  1. it doesn't feel smooth when swiping between weeks/months, practically sometimes you cannot even tell if you swipe action was successful or not
  2. there's no way to control the animation (as far as I looked for at least) for the swipe
