Hidden Column support for all Applicable Widgets

I would like to sort the data in the widget based on a dimension field, but the field value should not be shown in the widget. 

Ie i need to render a chart widget that will visualize the sales data by country, But instead of sorting the data based on the sales amount or the country i would like to sort the data based on the account numbers in each country. 


Also I should be able to 

have a hidden column in the map widget so that, they could make use of it for linking.
