Unable to see filters chosen and material

We are looking at moving to Syncfusion.  We done a gap analysis and there are currently two "features" that we feel are missing

1) You can't see when a filter has been applied. Our current grid supports this and allows to clear filters or use a filter builder.

2) Better Material style integration. Current style is a bit dull and doesn't match existing styles selected.
