The menu item does not stay highlighted if i already had a menu item selected before

The problem I'm facing right now is actually a bug in the menu bar. The menu item does not stay highlighted if I had already selected a menu item before also the item stay highlighted even after I click somewhere, check the video to get an idea. Link of video demo -  https://youtu.be/B9XSuzrCJ8Y
