Generate an event when a document is fully loaded into the viewer

currently an event is generated when a document is in the process of loading but (unless I am mistaken) there is no event for when a document is completed loading. As an example the pagecount is not available until the document is completely loaded. If one calls pagecount too early it is set to 0. We need a way to know when the load is complete
