The ListBoxComponent's getDataByValues return type is invalid

The list-box.d.ts states 

getDataByValues returns 
{[key: string]: Object;
}[].  However it seems to just return the objects bound to the list box.  My objects don't have a key property.  

[dataSource]="list$ | async"
[fields]="{ value: 'id', text: 'name' }"

Shouldn't this just be an array of objects?
