Pivot Table support in Spreadsheet

This feature introduces pivot table support within the spreadsheet component, enabling users to summarize, analyze, explore, and present large datasets interactively. Users can create pivot tables from selected data ranges, drag and drop fields to rows, columns, values, and filters, and dynamically rearrange data to gain insights, similar to Microsoft Excel’s pivot table functionality. The feature will support aggregation, grouping, filtering, and sorting, providing a powerful tool for data analysis within the spreadsheet.

Requirements:
  • Allow users to create a pivot table from a selected data range (existing table or range).
  • Provide a UI for configuring pivot table fields (drag-and-drop for rows, columns, values, filters).
  • Support common aggregation functions (SUM, COUNT, AVERAGE, MIN, MAX, etc.).
  • Enable grouping and sub-grouping of data by rows and columns.
  • Allow filtering and sorting of pivot table data.
  • Support dynamic updates: pivot table refreshes when source data changes.
  • Allow multiple pivot tables in a single spreadsheet.
  • Provide options to move, resize, or delete pivot tables.
  • Support exporting pivot table data.
  • Ensure compatibility with spreadsheet features (formulas, formatting, etc.).
