Uploader does not react to settings change

When the async settings property is bound to an object and the value of the save url is updated, it does not flow from the component to the underlying control. 


For my form, I set the save url and then call upload like so:

            this.AsyncSettings.saveUrl = url;
            this.$refs.Uploader.upload(this.$refs.Uploader.getFilesData());
 

The uploader component correctly gets the change:
Empty



But when upload is called, the underlying settings remain unchanged:
