Additional space between keyboard and entry rendered on larger iOS devices

Opening the chat on an iPhone 11 iOS 13.3 simulator the keyboard and entry box render with blank space between them, likely this is due to the notch at the base of the display? Attached is a screenshot of the keyboard and input display on an iPhone 11 iOS 13.3 with the additional space.
