Invalid behaviour of checkbox column validation required

Declaring a Blazor Grid column

<GridColumn ...DisplayAsCheckBox="true" ValidationRules="@(new { required=true })" />

validates, that the column box MUST BE CHECKED.

which does not make sense - a checkbox always has a value true or false.

Expected behaviour: no validation error if the checkbox is not checked (which corresponds to a not null value false)
