Grid serialization breaks if grid has columns with bitmap buttons

I have a grid with some columns that include several buttons with bitmap images.


I.e. first I create a buttons like this:

imageList.Images.Add(Properties.Resources.Delete_64);
            imageList.Images.Add(Properties.Resources.Block_64);
            imageList.Images.Add(Properties.Resources.Unblock_64);
            imageList.Images.Add(Properties.Resources.Zzz_64);
            imageList.Images.Add(Properties.Resources.Unzzz_64);
            imageList.Images.Add(Properties.Resources.Search_64);

            _buttons1New = new List();

            Size size = new Size(64, 64);

            Size imageSize = new Size(48, 48);

            ButtonCellStyleInfo cbs = new ButtonCellStyleInfo() { HoverBackColor = Color.DodgerBlue, BorderColor = new Pen(Color.DarkGray, 1.0f) };

            CellButton delete = new CellButton() { Text = "", ImageList = (ImageList)imageList, ImageIndex = DELETE, Size = size, ImageSize = imageSize, TextImageRelation = TextImageRelation.Overlay, Style = cbs };
            CellButton block = new CellButton() { Text = "", ImageList = (ImageList)imageList, ImageIndex = BLOCK, Size = size, ImageSize = imageSize, TextImageRelation = TextImageRelation.Overlay, Style = cbs };

And then create a column like this:

It is sort of annoying that I can't (or couldn't find an easy way to) set individual tooltips for each CellButton (especially without having any text in the cell itself), but the more serious bug is that when I try to serialize the grid with SerializeColumns set to true/default, I get the following exception:

Is there some workaround for this, I don't really feel like saving column settings manually :)
