We are trying to use the 'Snap To Lines' feature of the diagram control.
It works perfectly when the diagram first loads. When moving the node around, it lines up with the grid lines.
However when we zoom in, the node doesn't snap to the grid lines. It seems to be snapping to where the grid lines were before we zoomed in. (see attached HTML file)
This could probably be viewed as a bug.
But our feature request is that the grid squares do not divide/multiply as you zoom in/out.
The attached GIF is from an application called Blender. As you can see, the grid squares get larger as you zoom in/out, rather than the squares dividing up in to smaller squares. This what we'd like to be able to do with your diagram control.
With this feature enabled we wouldn't have the issue of nodes snapping to the wrong place. The grid lines would always be at the same coordinates regardless of the zoom level. So if you zoomed in and snapped a node to the grid line, then zoomed out, you would still see that it's aligned to the grid line.
I hope I have explained this clearly. Let me know if you need more information or want me to explain something in a different way.
