The 2020 Volume 3 release is expected in the first week of October 2020. In this blog, I am going to give you a quick overview of the new features we are planning to make available for the [Xamarin platform](https://www.syncfusion.com/xamarin-ui-controls) in the upcoming Volume 3 release. Let’s explore them! ## AndroidX support through Xamarin.Forms 4.5 As we know, [Xamarin shared the stable version](https://devblogs.microsoft.com/xamarin/androidx-nuget-packages-are-stable/) of AndroidX in the Xamarin.Forms 4.5 release. We, too, upgraded our minimum supported Xamarin.Forms version to 4.5.0.617 to take advantage of the benefits of AndroidX and the [Xamarin.Forms 4.5 features](https://devblogs.microsoft.com/xamarin/xamarin-forms-4-5/) . This requires no change in your code.
