Ribbon Control

Ribbon control now ships with a wide range of features. Gallery control, Mini Tool bar, Split buttons, scrollbar support to ribbon tab and ribbon bars and multi line support for menu items are some of the added features in Ribbon control. All the Ribbon related controls can be added to other windows and XBAP applications with custom color scheme support.

    

    

Validate integer values - IntegerTextBox

IntegerTextBox supports Int64 datatype values. Data Modeling support, ability to specify minimum and maximum values, customizable look and feel, different colors for Negative and Positive integers, built in visual styles and themes, globalization and designer support for both Microsoft Expression Blend and Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 are the salient features of IntegerTextBox.

Validate double values - DoubleTextBox

DoubleTextBox supports values of double datatype. DoubleTextBox in Essential Studio WPF ships with a variety of built in features such as two way data binding, minimum and maximum values, globalization, designer support for both Microsoft Expression Blend and Microsoft Visual Studio 2008. Built in visual styles and themes are complemented by support for templates.

MaskedTextBox

MaskedTextBox is an enhanced TextBox control that supports a mask for validating user input. It provides options to validate using regular expressions based mask strings also. Watermark text can also be applied. Designer support in both Expression Blend and Microsoft Visual Studio 2008. MaskedTextBox ships with a variety of built in visual styles and themes to add a sophisticated look and feel for your application.

Advanced Tree control - TreeViewAdv

TreeViewAdv control is used to display the data in a hierarchical order. Unlimited number of items can be added. Also supports multiple node selection, drag and drop of items, built in animations for expand and collapse operations and in-place editing of items. Different images can be provided for expanded and collapsed states of an item. Images can also added to left and right of the tree items.

Clock

Clock Control can display the time in digital and analog formats. Extensive customization is possible by just setting the properties of the clock control. The clock control supports hand dragging wherein the users can drag the hands in the clock to change the time.

Docking Manager – Office 2007 schemes

Docking Manager now supports Office 2007 Black Silver color schemes.

Color Picker

The new Color picker control supports selecting colors using an eye dropper. New layout and visual styles and themes have also been added.

Date Time Edit

DateTimeEdit control comes with a built in Watch control to select time easily. It also supports empty field values.

Essential Chart

Multiple Axes Support

Multiple X and Y axes can be added to chart and specific series of data can be associated with different axes. Zooming is also supported with multiple axes.

Improved Chart Legends

Chart Legends can now be added to both the Chart Area and the outer area as required. Chart Area legends now enable the user to select the segments to be displayed in the pie, doughnut, pyramid and funnel chart types, using check boxes.

Segment Labels for Pie, Doughnut, Pyramid and Funnel

Segment labels are supported in chart types such as pie, doughnut, pyramid and funnel. Segment labels can be customized and can be placed inside or outside of the segment. Pointer lines can be displayed when the labels are displayed outside the chart segment.

Exclusive Zooming for ChartSeries with Controllable Zooming Toolkit

Chart zooming in Essential Chart for WPF now enables the user to zoom individual ChartSeries in a chart. It also allows the user to display / hide the items in the zooming toolkit.
