The PivotGrid, as the name implies, pivots the data to organize it in a cross-tabulated form. The PivotGrid is just like our OLAPGrid, but works with relational data. Our powerful in-memory pivoting engine can transform hundreds of thousands of relational table rows into comprehensible pivot information within seconds. Along with pivoting, summarizing and grouping data is also supported.
Essential BI PivotGrid accepts any kind of generic data collection, which may be either an IList or data table. With the data source specified, it automatically sorts, counts, and totals the data to present it in a cross-tabulated form.
