Covered Cells

Multiple cells can be covered to exhibit the behavior of a single cell. This makes it straight-forward to display special items such as titles and bitmaps so that they occupy more than a single cell.

Covered cells blend seamlessly with Essential Grid's keyboard navigation model. Covered cells can also host any Essential Grid control type. Covered cells can be interactively created and cleared by end users. As seen in the following screenshot, covered cells can be formatted and can have their own borders.
