Advanced Keyboard Interaction
The EditControl supports extensive interaction with the keyboard, through the use of shortcuts keys, to perform certain pre-defined or custom bound actions. The insert state of the EditControl, can also be toggled using the Insert key.

A few shortcut key combinations have been predefined for the EditControl to perform certain standard tasks. Further, any desired keystroke combination can be bound to standard or custom commands, providing advanced customization options for the user to suit his preferences.

When the EditControl is in the Insert Mode, the characters typed, get inserted rather than overwriting the existing text.
