Diagram Background
Similar to the Node background, the diagram's background can also be customized with numerous Fill Style options like Gradient, Hatch, Texture, etc.

The Background Style Editor dialog is available to design the background from within the designer or during runtime, if you are putting togather a "Diagram Builder" application.
