Chart web control includes a Web Chart Wizard feature to provide the end user with options to customize the chart axes, appearance, series data, and color palette of a chart control with much more ease.

The Chart web control supports the addition of a context menu. Enduser can change the type of the series, color of the series, save the chart control as an image, print the chart control, and also customize the legend position in the chart control at runtime.

Essential Chart for ASP.NET now has ToolBar support. This ToolBar contains various options available; the end user able to save the chart, print the chart, etc. The toolbar can also be dragged and floated.

Essential Chart for ASP.NET now supports zooming and scrolling. Zooming is supported on both X and Y axes. It is also possible to zoom on Multiple Y axes.

Essential Chart for ASP.NET now has support for Smart Tags, giving end user the option to customize the chart control at design time easily.

Essential Chart for ASP.NET now supports an interactive cursor. This cursor can be used to inform the end user what chart coordinates are at the location where they are clicking. A Historical cursor can be viewed by dragging the cursor.

Essential Chart for ASP.NET now has Template support. The user can save the existing structure of the chart control to an xml file format. The user can load a chart control structure that has been previously saved. There is support to reset the template in Essential Chart for ASP.NET.

Essential Chart for ASP.NET supports the following new chart types: Funnel Chart, Pyramid Chart, StackedArea100, StackedColumn100, StackedBar100.
