Background Style

The Background Style options of a diagram such as color and brush type can be defined using the backgroundStyle Editor.

Line Style

Layer

A layer organizes graphical objects into groups that share a common set of default properties and more importantly the Z-order. You can add any number of layers to the model and also move objects between layers.

This is ideal for creating overlapping areas within a diagram.
