Notes from MobileCon: Day 1

The halls of the San Jose Convention Center were buzzing with excitement at yesterday’s reception. Fresh from an inspirational keynote speech, MobileCON 2013 attendees flooded into the exhibit floor ready to learn and explore. Between eating, drinking, and milling around, the time went by extremely fast!

Attendees stopped by the Syncfusion booth to chat with our developers on hand, Davis Jebaraj and Stephen Jebaraj, about mobile payment systems, mobile expense applications, and the bring-your-own-device environment emerging in enterprise.

Much of the conversation was about HTML 5, regarding how well it really performs, and how it handles the fragmented landscape of mobile devices, such as the issue of maintaining compatibility across multiple versions of Android phones.

Although yesterday’s reception went by quickly, today we’ll have more time to continue our conversations and talk about Syncfusion’s mobile controls, frameworks, and services. We’ll also have a live demo of or mobile BI solution kit, so be sure to stop by booth 315 if you are at the conference.

Attendees should also check out our giveaway. Many were intrigued yesterday by the Lego guessing game, which gives participants a chance to win a pair of Beats by Dre headphones for correctly guessing the number of Legos in the jar.
