Essential Studio 4.1 (Beta build 4.1.0.4) is available for download. Essential Studio 4.1 includes complete support for Visual Studio.NET 2005 RTM version. It also supports Visual Studio.NET 2002 and 2003.

Details on this release
The installation and configuration system for Essential Studio has been fully updated to provide a better installation and configuration experience. Tools such as the Assembly Manager are shipped only as command line utilities in this beta. The next version will have Windows front ends for these utilities.
Obtaining support
Please use Direct-Trac to report problems or obtain support with version 4.1.
Important notes
- Web products are not included with the current beta. These will be available in a few days. The new installation system allows you to exclude Web or Windows products during installation.
- With version 4.1, there will be no distinction between Essential Studio Professional and Enterprise versions. All Studio customers will have access to all Essential Studio products. Going forward there will be two variants of Essential Studio, one binary and the other with source.
