Excel 2007 Support

Essential XlsIO is one of the first products to natively support Excel 2007 Xlsx file format. 100% support for all Excel object types is not yet available, but several commonly used elements are already supported.

Features that are already supported are, cell merging, get/set cell data, basic styles and range operations like copy cells, insert row/column, clear cells, etc.

Objects that are not supported like autofilter and VBA macros will however be read and preserved without loss of fidelity.

Now that Excel 2007 lets you insert more than 65,000 rows of data, you can do the same with XlsIO.

You can also open the xlsx files and resave it in Excel 2003 file format and vice versa.

Excel 2007 now supports rich gradient filled cells. XlsIO exposes this functionality to you via some brand new APIs and lets you create rich looking worksheets.

It also supports the inclusion of multiple constraints(more than 3) in conditional formatting, which is a new feature in Excel 2007 format.
