Chart Types
Syncfusion WPF Chart offers 33 different chart types, which can be easily configured to suit users needs. It supports customization of charts both at series levels and at individual point levels. Combining compatible chart types is supported as well as stacking modes for certain stock types.

Bar Chart
Bar chart represents chart series as a graphical comparison of several quantities in which the lengths of the horizontal or vertical bars represent the relative magnitude of the values.
Bar Chart
StackingBar Chart
Stacking bar chart represents chart series as a stacked graphical comparison of several quantities.

Gantt Chart
Frequently used in project management, a Gantt chart provides a graphical illustration of a schedule that helps to plan, co-ordinate, and track specific tasks in a project.
Key Features:
-
Provides a graphical representation of the duration of tasks against the progression of time.
-
Each task takes up one row.
-
The expected time for each task is represented by a horizontal bar, whose left and right ends mark the beginning and completion dates of a task respectively.
-
Tasks may run in a sequential, parallel or overlapped fashion.

Tornado Chart
Tornado chart is a bar chart, which shows the variability of an outcome, as the result of several factors. This variability is displayed using relative lengths of bars across a range.

Column Chart
Column chart displays information as a series of vertical columns.
Column Chart
Stacking Column Chart
Stacking column charts are column charts with Y values stacked over one another, in a series order. Chart data can be visualized as sum of series parts while using the Stacking Column chart.
Stacking Column Chart
Column Range Chart
ColumnRange charts is a Column Chart, providing options for specifying the starting and ending Y-axis values, for each data point, with each column spanning over a range.

Area Chart
Area chart is a line chart in which each area is given a solid color or a gradient brush to emphasize the relationships between the pieces of charted information. This type of chart displays the trend of values over time or categories.
Area Chart
Spline Chart
Spline Chart is an Area chart in which each area is given a color to emphasize the relationships between the pieces of charted information.
Spline Chart
Stacking Area Chart
StackingArea is an area chart with Y values stacked over one another, in series order.
StackingArea Chart
StepArea Chart
Step Area chart is a type of area chart with values drawn continuously in a step by step fashion, without any spaces between them.

Line Chart
Line chart series displays data points interconnected as lines.
Line Chart
Spline Chart
Spline charts define chart series points as interconnected smooth curves.
Spline Chart
Rotated Spline Chart
Rotated Spline chart defines chart series points as interconnected rotated smooth curves.
RotatedSpline Chart
StepLine Chart
Step Line charts are line charts, with values drawn continuously, step by step without any gaps between them.

Pie chart serves ideal for displaying proportionate values, which are in either percentage or fractional format.
Key Features:
-
Plots Y values in one series as fractional parts of a circle.
-
The data point value determines the portion of the pie that is taken up by the point.
-
Displays only one data series at a time.
-
Can be used to display only nominal (categorical, qualitative) data.
-
Each data series in a chart has a unique color or pattern and is represented in the chart legend, proportional to the sum of the items.
-
Supports bevel, round, inside, outside and custom chart types.

You can also explode a single segment or all segments in a pie or doughnut chart.

Doughnut Chart
Doughnut charts are pie charts with a hole, whose value is specified as the doughnut coefficient. The Doughnut Chart is best suited for presenting data in proportions.

Polar Chart
Polar chart is used to display chart data points in a polar co-ordinate system.

Radar Chart
Radar chart represents quantitative variables represented on axes along a radial plane.

Bubble Chart
Bubble charts represent chart series as distribution of values.
Bubble Chart
Scatter Chart
Scatter chart is a classic 'x Vs y' chart consisting of two axes, with each data point marked with its own symbol. It's moreover a 'line chart' but without connected lines.

Candle Chart
The high and low values are represented by the wick of a candle, in a candle chart. The candle represents open and close values. The body of the candle is often colored under conditions where the open value is smaller than the closed value.

HiLo Chart
HiLo chart is a sophisticated chart type, that finds its place in stock analysis.
Key Features:
-
Display of Error Bars.
-
Trading range of stock and its closing value, for each period.
-
Displays Y - value for each X - value.
-
In special cases, displays a range of Y - values for a given X value.

HiLo Open Close Chart
HiLo OpenClose Chart is a HiLo chart with four Y values for each point. The functionality of each Y value is given below.
-
One representing the high value of the plotted stock, for the time period for which the chart is being rendered.
-
One representing the low values for the same period.
-
One representing the opening value for that period.
-
One representing the closing value for that period.

Box and Whisker Chart
Box-whisker chart represents data ranges as boxes and/or marks.
Key Features:
-
A solid box is drawn whose left and right edges, corresponding to the quartiles, has a mark inside it to show the median.
-
Two 'whiskers' are attached to the sides of the box, to show the overall range of the data.
-
Comparing several box and whisker charts serves useful for spotting distribution differences.

Kagi Chart
Kagi chart consists of a series connecting vertical lines where the thickness and direction of those lines depends on price.

Renko Chart
Renko charts serves excellent for determining support and resistance levels.

ThreeLine Break Chart
ThreeLineBreak displays a series of vertical boxes that are based on changes in prices. It depicts rising and falling lines of varying heights.

Accumulation charts are typically single series charts representing the data as portions of 100% and do not use any axes.
Funnel Chart
Funnel charts is a type of accumulation chart where the height of the funnel segment corresponds to a Y value of a point in a series.
Funnel charts are often used to represent stages in a sales process and show the amount of potential revenue for each stage.
Optionally, instead of the height, the Y value can also be made to represent the width of the segment.
Funnel Chart
Pyramid Chart
Pyramid charts are another type of accumulation chart which has a triangular upper surface that converge at one point. Similar to a Funnel chart, the height of a segment is proportional to the Y value of the corresponding point.
Pyramid Chart
You can also explode a single segment in the Pyramid or Funnel Chart or explode all segments.
